Hi Eric. In tye uploaded images it's two different RSI lengths for the algo. One is 14 the other is 100. The ribbon remains the same, shouldn't it adjust to the length of the rsi? It seems like the ribbon is only useful when using rsi 14, once you increase the length then the ribbon does nothing for you anymore.
CoffeeShopCryptoNope. It's correct. The ribbon is not giving you liquodory of the rsi. That's impossible as the rsi is just calculated values between the distance...Nope. It's correct. The ribbon is not giving you liquodory of the rsi. That's impossible as the rsi is just calculated values between the distance of closing price changes. The ribbon us hsijg the movement of the rsi against price action changes and calculating weather u actually have bullish or bearish liquidity as the primary force at that moment.
Since u can not change the length of price action, it dies not have a lookback period to use. I did do this originally but it gave a huge mess of information. Most of which was not relevant.
And besides, if u were to use the ribbon as ur leading factor, ud already be late. Price a tion is the leading factor. Everything g else should calculate against and after that. Not before, because before is impossible. Show more1 year ago
