Nice. Looking forward to the video going through this. Needed to focus on irl work for most of this year thus far, but, recently, I've been backtesting and live testing a 1:1 scalping strategy with no indicators with decent success (~75%), so adding in another indicator for confluence sounds really intriguing to me. can't wait

oh yeah CoffeeShopCrypto this looks really sweet. love the old HA Algo, so i’m looking forward to this update

nice. will do once I can get in front of my desktop

looking forward to seeing the new version. I sometimes used the older version as confluence on shorter time frames, so excited to see what you’ve added. new video incoming?

BoldorXL, thanks for sharing, as you've made me consider a few options that - while not exactly what I was looking for - will alert me to better looking setups. In other words, I may not get an alert for the condition I'm looking for, but when i do get an alert and the condition is there, it'll be an optimal setup for my strat....

As someone who uses the Heiken Ashi as my main indicator, the only thing I am missing are robust options for alerts. I've mentioned previously that I like paying attention to HTF instances where consecutive green or red candle print in succession with strength indicating a strong likelihood of reversal, i.e., the second candle prints a higher rsi...

I use the Heiken Ashi Algo to take note of divergences and use them as confluence, but for the reasons E stated above, I don't jump into trades just because I see a divergence.

hey, what do you mean by "normal divergence"? Do you mean, for example, the rsi on an indicator like the Heiken Ashi Algo putting in lower highs while price is putting in higher highs?

you got it, E. it’s the least I can do with the amount of free education you’ve gifted. I’m a better trader as a result of your indicators and concepts. happy to contribute more in the near future

Happy to contribute, CSC. I find it easier to grok concepts when they’re fleshed out with examples, so I went that route. Pleased you dug it enough to share 🙏🏼

It’s funny because while I know a lot of people credit ICT with helping them become profitable, most of his content has not resonated with me. I find him to be obnoxious, intentionally inscrutable, & kooky, but having said that, I don’t need to like someone to learn from them. I don’t know enough to call him fraudulent, but controversy...

I found this video by ICT to be very useful in tailoring a plan for position sizing: www.youtube.com/watch He offers a number of strategies, but I found one to be simple and effective in reducing drawdown. Essentially, you have a set percentage you're willing to risk, say, 2% of your equity. If your trade is successful, you...

Heiken-Ashi Algo // CSC Fib Strat

Hey Coffeeheadz, This is a walkthrough of a strategy I've employed using CSC's indicator the Heiken Ashi Algo (HAA) & CSC's settings for the TradingView fibonacci tool along with the methods and concepts that have been shared via CSC's YouTube vids. I've backtested and forward-tested it quite a bit, and while I feel there's always refinements to...
